These photos were taken on May 16th and 19th, 2012. We rode the Grand Cy. Rlwy. from Williams AZ to the Grand Cyn. depot located on the South Rim of The Canyon near the El Tovar Lodge, a distance of 65 miles. Having a car at the Canyon is not necessary and this is a great way to get to the South Rim.
