The "Skeena", operated by Via Rail Canada, runs from Jasper AB to Prince Rupert BC with an overnight stop in Prince George BC. The portion of the trip from Jasper to Prince George is contained in the Via "Canadian"/ Rocky Mountaineer gallery. We traveled the 465 mile portion from Prince George to Prince Rupert in August 2018. There were a number of large fires burning in BC near the Skeen route which limited photography due to heavy smoke. This set contains shots that were not to badly impaired by the smokey haze. The train was about three hours late arriving Prince Rupert which curtailed photography on the last portion of the trip through the mountains due to darkness. Photos without notation are shots of various sights and locations along the route.
