These photos cover our trip in August of 2015 on the Via "Canadian" from Vancouver BC to Jasper AB and on the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper AB to North Vancouver BC via Prince George BC, Quesnel BC and Whistler BC. Prince George to North Vancouver is traversed on tracks of the BC Railway, formally the Pacific Great Eastern Railway. The BC Railway is now operated by the Canadian National Railway. The railway runs 466 miles from North Vancouver to Prince George and passes through some spectacular scenery. BC Railway ran regular passenger service until Oct. 2002. The service was provided by Budd Rail Diesel cars. I rode this train from North Vancouver to Lillooet and return in Sept. 1976.
