I shot this photo on September 10, 2011 at the now demolished Brooklyn roundhouse in Portland OR. It is now housed in the Portland Rail Heritage Museum. I have ridden behind this locomotive many times and rode in the cab when I was working for the Southern Pacific RR. The locomotive is a 1941 4-8-4 built by Lima.
